EUIPO SME Fund 2026

The SME Fund 2026 is officially open, offering financial support to help EU-based small and medium-sized enterprises protect their intellectual property rights. This European Commission initiative, implemented by EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office, will run from 2 February to 4 December 2026.
In today’s digital and innovation-driven environment, protecting IP is essential to safeguard ideas, products and technologies. Through the SME Fund, eligible SMEs can receive reimbursement vouchers covering a wide range of IP-related activities, including trademarks, designs, patents, plant varieties and, except for Spain, IP Scan services.
Depending on the country or region, companies may benefit from up to 75% reimbursement on IP rights applications, with grants paid directly to the SME’s bank account.
The programme is open to SMEs established in the European Union and Ukraine, with applications submitted directly by the company or through an authorised representative.
