We are excited to share the great news that ZBM have two new European Patent Attorneys, Marina García (Biomedicine) and Enrique Montagut (Chemistry and Chemical Engineering) are now fully qualified European Patent Attorneys. After months of intense studying, their commitment and efforts have paid off and they have successfully overcome this extremely challenging professional hurdle to further their roles as key players at ZBM.

Marina has a PhD Biomedicine and MSc Agricultural Engineering and is based in our Madrid office. She joined ZBM in 2022, brining with her extensive experience in the field of biomedicine and biotechnology, specialising in the area of gene regulation. Her work involves conducting patentability searches and preparing patentability and FTO reports, as well as drafting and prosecuting patent applications.

Enrique works in our Barcelona office where he prepares patents, as well as patentability and FTO reports. Joining us at ZBM in 2024, having previous professional experience in an IP agency and a pharma company, Enrique has a PhD in Organic Chemistry and a multidisciplinary technical profile through his experience in the field of pharma, polymers and biomedical devices.
