On May 1st, members of the ZBM team attended the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) Awards 2026 for Europe, the Middle East and Africa area (EMEA) at the InterContinental London by the O2 Arena in Greenwich. This year’s 21st edition of the MIP Awards brought together the foremost IP practitioners from around the EMEA region to highlight and celebrate the culmination of professional successes over the previous 12 months.  We were thrilled to step up to receive the award for Best Patent Prosecution Firm in Spain (Patent & Trademark Attorney Firms). Furthermore, this year Montserrat Jané was awarded the prestigious title of Practitioner of the Year in Spain (Patent & Trademark Attorney Firms), cementing her unmistakable position as one of the most respected and prominent IP professionals in Spain.

These awards complement the annual recognition of ZBM as the leading company in Spain in the MIP rankings, having been ranked uninterruptedly in tier 1 since 2007.

The MIP Awards in-depth survey recognizes remarkable achievements in IP, particularly focusing on case studies that were of great significance to clients and IP law and practice. Each year the MIP expert research analysts obtain information from thousands of firms, IP practitioners and their clients, through this corroboration the achievements and merits of each company are ascertained. It is with great pride that we receive these prestigious awards as they mirror our client satisfaction and are a testimony to the dedication, innovation and outstanding work of the ZBM team.
