We are excited to share that ZBM has yet again been shortlisted for this year’s Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) Awards 2025 for Europe, the Middle East and Africa area (EMEA), this time in the category of Best Patent Prosecution Firm in Spain (Patent & Trademark Attorney Firms), and Bernabé Zea has been nominated for Practitioner of the Year in Spain (Patent & Trademark Attorney Firms). Since 2007 MIP has recognised the exceptional work carried out in ZBM by ranking us as Top Tier Firm in Patent Prosecution in Spain and frequently highlighted our practitioners as Rising Stars, Notable Practitioners and IPStars.

Now in its 20th year, the MIP awards ceremony is one of the most prestigious events of the IP calendar, highlighting and celebrating the standout practitioners and firms in the IP field across more than 50 jurisdictions. Each year the MIP research analysts carry out an in-depth research process that assesses the strength of the firm’s IP team, workload, outcomes achieved for clients, and track record as well as focusing on high impact cases carried out over the previous 12 months.

This year’s awards ceremony will be held at the Royal Lancaster London on April 10 when the winners will be revealed at a special gala dinner. We can’t wait for the opportunity to meet up with our colleagues from here and abroad and of course we look forward to hearing this year’s results.
