On 18th September ZBM’s Bernabé Zea will participate in the next Patent Mondays’ session, organised jointly by the University of Barcelona’s Patent Centre and Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM).

Bernabé will participate as a member of a round table moderated by Pascual Segura that will review and debate the patent topics related to chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology covered throughout the day in the seminars given by Alfredo Fernández, Cristina López Mosquera, and Joachim Renken. Apart from these 4 members, Josep Montefusco (Clifford Chance) and Oriol Ramon Sauri (Vidal-Quadras & Ramon) will be also present at the debate table.

The main purpose of these workshops is to be of use to those from different backgrounds and levels of patent experience and to update professional knowledge with the aid of expert tutors who have hands-on experience.

Bernabé holds a degree in chemistry from the University of Barcelona and is founding partner of ZBM Patents & Trademarks, and CEO of ZBM BConnect. He has many years of experience in preparation of patentability opinions, validity and infringement risk studies, license negotiation and IP Due Diligence, and frequently acts as an expert witness before the courts, particularly in patent litigation in chemistry, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

The session is open to all and will be held in person. For more information or to register for the session read more here.
