About Me
Anna’s career in patents started in 1990; her professional experience includes drafting and prosecuting European, US, Spanish and PCT applications in a wide range of engineering fields, as well as freedom to operate and due diligence reports. A relevant part of her work is related to patent enforcement before Spanish courts, and she has acted as technical patent expert in the Spanish part of several pan-European litigation cases.
In 1999 she passed the European Qualifying Examination (EQE) and became a European Patent Attorney, and since then she has devoted part of her time to teaching. She coordinated the courses of the University of Barcelona for the Spanish EQE candidates, and she is a tutor of the European Patent Institute (epi). She also takes part in courses, conferences and seminars in order to raise awareness of the patent system.
