Laura Artigas

About Me

Laura joined ZBM in 2018 after having worked for three years in the IP department of a French multinational company where she managed a computing and data processing patent portfolio in Paris. Prior to this, Laura had gained her first experience in patents in 2011 at the European Patent Office, in The Hague, working as an examiner’s assistant in the technical field of Audio Video Media and signal processing. Later, she continued her career at a law firm in Madrid where she dealt with patentability opinions, drafting and prosecution of European, American, Chinese and PCT applications as well as validity opinions. Her work includes drafting and defence during prosecution, as well as reports on patentability and the risk of infringement.

In 2022, she obtained the European Patent Litigation Certificate which will give her the right to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court.

She became a partner in 2024.
